Look ahead
- The second presidential debate takes place this week. It will be Tuesday from 9-10:30 p.m. EDT. This debate between President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney will be on domestic and foreign policy and will be in town meeting format.
- Teen Read Week takes place from Oct. 14-20. This year’s theme is It Came from the Library! The week is designed to get teens to read, obviously enough.
- The new movies opening this week include “Alex Cross,” a PG-13 mystery thriller starring Tyler Perry and Matthew Fox; “Paranormal Activity 4,” another sequel in this horror franchise; and “The Sessions,” an R drama starring John Hawkes, Helen Hunt and William H. Macy.
