Ilion, N.Y. —
An Ilion woman faces three counts of felony aggravated driving while intoxicated charges after she allegedly drove while intoxicated and with her three children in the car, Ilion police said.
Amy Trevor, 32, also is charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated and misdemeanor driving with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent or greater, police said.
The felony charges were filed under Leandra’s Law, which makes it a felony to have a child younger than 15 years of age in the car if you’re driving while intoxicated.
Officers stopped Trevor’s car as she was leaving the scene of a domestic dispute at her residence and found her three children in the car with her, police said.
Trevor was arraigned in Ilion Village Court and bail was set.
She will return to court Dec. 13, police said.
