Dolgeville police arrested four Dolgeville residents on Aug. 31 after they allegedly sold alcohol to minors.
Police Chief Richard Congdon said the department, along with the state Liquor Authority, conducted an ABC sting in the village. The sting was conducted in six businesses, which were visited by an underage person and an investigator with the liquor authority.
Arrested were Katherine A. Carmen, 22, of 14 Winton Lane, Dolgeville, at Arthur’s Restaurant; Matthew J. Kluge, 50, of 5 Millett Lane, Dolgeville, at Dopp’s Inn; Korey A. Perkins, 23, of 20 E. Faville Ave., Dolgeville, at Kinney’s Drug Store; and Jessica M. Seaman, 37, of 3 Fink St., Dolgeville, at the Big M Store. All four were charged with one count each of first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child, a misdemeanor. All four were ticketed and released.
They are scheduled to appear in Manheim Town Court on Sept. 19.
Two other businesses were also visited — Fastrac and Stewart’s Shop — but did not have any employees who were charged.
