Traffic stop leads to felony drug charges

A Little Falls woman faces multiple charges stemming from a traffic stop on Burwell Street on April 26, city police said.
When police stopped 28-year-old Heather Johnson, of 82 Burwell St., for a traffic offense, she allegedly was found to be in possession of powder cocaine, a crack pipe containing crack cocaine and marijuana, police said.
Johnson is charged with felony first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, felony fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana, which is a violation, police said.
She was sent to Herkimer County jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bail bond, police said.
