Herkimer, N.Y. —
A 19-year-old Herkimer man recently was accused of stealing a laptop from a student at Herkimer County Community College, Herkimer police said Monday.
Ram L. Nichols was charged with felony grand larceny and was released by village court, police said.
Village and campus police worked together to recover the laptop as well as other property owned by the college, police said.
Nichols faces additional charged by the college for those items, police said.
