A child reportedly was injured Wednesday morning after being struck by a car in Ilion.
Deputy Fire Chief Daniel Trevor confirmed emergency crews responded to East Clark Street near the Remington Arms factory just after 7 a.m. for a crash in which a car struck a child, and that the child was taken to St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica by Ilion Ambulance.
Officials from the Ilion Police Department could not immediately be reached for comment.
