Dolgeville Police
May 8
•A 17-year-old male was arrested for petit larceny after he was caught shoplifting in the Kinney Drugs store at 55 N. Main St., Dolgeville. The youth was released on an appearance ticket returnable at Manheim Town Court at a later date.
May 15
•Lawrence White, 21, of 30 E. State St., Dolgeville, was arrested on an active warrant issued by the Rotterdam Police Department. During the investigation of a domestic dispute, police found that White was wanted an a bench warrant. He was released to the Rotterdam police.
Ilion Police
April 30
•Cyndi M. Callahan, 44, of Frankfort, was charged with one count of fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. Callahan was arrested after police responded to a report of suspicious activity in Central Plaza. She was arraigned before Judge Donald Pearson in Ilion Village Court, and was remanded to the Herkimer County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bail bond.
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office
May 15
•Raymond I. Sanders, 38, of 7044 State Highway 5, St. Johnsville, was arrested for first-degree commission of a criminal sexual act. He is accused of engaging in deviate sexual acts with an 11-year-old female on at least two separate occasions at his residence. Sanders was arraigned before Justice William Peeler in Mohawk Town Court and was remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 property bond. The investigation, conducted by Montgomery County Child Protective Services, Harry Hoag Elementary School and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, is continuing as it appears that the abuse has been going on since she was nine years old. More charges are pending. The case has been turned over to District Attorney James “Jed” Conboy for further action.
