A Herkimer County Community College student faces felony charges after allegedly breaking into another student's dorm room and stealing a laptop and a watch, Herkimer police said.
Shucre Fadalla, 19, of Albany, allegedly entered the room through a window in November.
He was arraigned Wednesday on charges of felony second-degree burglary and felony grand larceny, and was remanded to Herkimer County jail on $500 cash bail, police said.
Police and HCCC Campus Safety encourage students to keep their possessions locked up to avoid such thefts.
