Stewart and Evelyn (Shedd) Darling, of Salisbury Center, will celebrate their 66th wedding anniversary on May 31.
The parents of David Darling and wife, Debra, of East Aurora; Melaine and husband, Thomas Paatz, of Salisbury; Marilyn Darling, of Boulder, Colo.; and Donald Darling and wife, Diana, of Salisbury, the couple has seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Stewart and Evelyn Darling were united in marriage on May 31, 1942, by Rev. Charles Carter and Rev. G. Vaughn Shedd, uncle of the bride, at the Dolgeville Methodist Church. Howard Darling, brother of the groom, and Esther Shedd, sister of the bride, were their attendants.
A celebration in honor of their 66th anniversary will be held with their family.
