If you are a small business owner, LinkedIn is now offering you the opportunity to recreate a company page for your business with the new redesigned company pages. Many small business owners have already taken advantage of this little known feature of LinkedIn which never really offered much, until now. This has been talked about for a long time and the beta version was offered to larger companies some time ago. It has taken LinkedIn a while to get this feature fully functional so you will want to take the time and list your company right away. If you are not a small business owner, LinkedIn invites you to connect with and follow the companies you enjoy.
This sure sounds a lot like Facebook and fan pages only with a few expanded features such as business opportunities and job openings. In addition, all businesses will now have the opportunity to tell their company story, highlight products and services and engage with followers.
Setting up a company page can be done fairly quickly. To get started, add your company by using this link http://www.linkedin.com/company/add/show. Follow the instructions and follow through with the verification email. You are then ready to start completing your company information. Add your Products and Services by using the tab of the same name. Finally, start utilizing company updates. This includes photographs and videos. Only the most recent 20 updates are available. Recommendations from customers/clients are also available.
Your company can add a Follow button from your website.
