We're told that the New York Beef Industry Council is gearing up for the 3rd Annual Best NY Burger Contest.
The contest kicks off on February 1st with voting running until March 15th.
Despite being only in its third year, our region has fared pretty well in this all-beef patty smackdown. In 2011, the South Trenton Pub won the grand prize. Last year, Crazy Otto's Empire Diner in Herkimer was a regional winner (with Syracuse's Ale 'n Angus Pub taking top honors).
So let's get the early conversation started: Who dishes up the best burger in the Mohawk Valley?
