Not for nothin': The most expensive restaurant in America is...

We deal with the cheap.

The VERY cheap.

All of the reviews we do hover around the $25 mark.

But if you were to go all in, how much would you spend for a night out? $100? $250? $300? The Daily Meal has come up with a list of the 25 most expensive restaurants in America.

According to the website, "the rankings reflect the "average check total" for each restaurant — which includes a complete meal (of whatever number of courses) plus one bottle of wine and tax and tip for the average party size (as indicated by each restaurant)."

Most of the places are located out in California, but two of the top three are within driving distance.

#3: Per Se, New York City ($851)

#2: Urasawa, Beverly Hills, Calif. ($1,111)

And... Checking in at #1: Masa, New York City ($1,269)

$1,269 for one meal!

That's more than TWICE the median weekly wage for the average Utica family.

And what does Masa serve? Raw fish. Stinks, don't it?
