Well at least you can see Chris talk. Who is Chris; that would be Chris McDougall author of the bestseller Born to Run. Born to Run is not about the life and times of Bruce Springsteen (catch him at Vernon Downs in August) it’s about some of the greatest runners and the greatest race the world has never seen. You do not have to be a runner to find the story (or rather series of stories that interconnect) engaging. Hey, the book club my wife’s in is reading it and are finding it entertaining. Normally my wife is not sure what to think about runners!
The presentation takes place Saturday, June 9th, at 7:00 p.m. in the Mohawk Valley Community College Theater (located in the IT Building). Tickets are $10 and we’ll have a limited number of books for sale at $10 (pretty cheap). Chris will be signing books after the presentation.
Some very cool door prizes including free Boilermaker registration (any event) for the rest of the winner’s life.
Want to catch Chris? Go to mvcc.edu/tickets; tickets are seat specific so register early to get a good seat. I’m thinking this will sellout; sort of like the Boilermaker.
