  • DOLGEVILLE — Naomi R. Youker, 86, of Slawson Street, Dolgeville, passed away Thursday evening, May 15, 2014, at her residence.
    She was born on Oct. 2, 1927, in Dolgeville, the daughter of the late Robert and Naomi (Paatz) Youngblut, and attended Dolgeville High School.
    She was united in marriage to her husband of 69 years, Roy H. (Bud) Youker, on July 21, 1945, in Dolgeville.
    Mrs. Youker was a Past Matron of the Auskerada, Maquaes, Rock City Chapter No. 204 OES.
    For many years, Mrs. Youker operated Naomi’s Salon from her home in Dolgeville.
    She is survived by her husband, Roy H. (Bud); her sister-in-law, Harma Wagner, Dolgeville; her brother-in-law, Donald Hoffman, Dolgeville; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Rudolph, Robert, Erwin and Ewald Youngblut, and by her sister, Erma Hoffman.
    In keeping with her wishes, funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
