  • Folts director of admissions speaks to Rock City Seniors

  • LITTLE FALLS ó Excellence in senior living was the topic at the April 9 meeting of the Rock City Seniors at the St. Paulís Unitarian Universalist Church.
    Joseph Pashley, director of admissions of Folts Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing and the Pavilion at Claxton Manor, spoke to the members. He explained the facilityís day care program, Folts apartments and Claxton Manor accommodations and expected expenses. An invitation was extended to anyone who would like to visit the facility.
    Mary Backer, sunshine person, stated get well cards were sent to Lucy Brown, Vera Wright and Evelyn Rumin and a sympathy card was sent to the family of Adele Zysk.
    Members celebrating birthdays were Marie Perry, Therese Carrig and Neva Volo.
    An auction will take place at the May 14 meeting. Members were asked to bring items to auction off.
    Barb Gillen and Dawn Kaminski volunteered to co-host the spring dinner.
    Argie Viskup won the 50/50 raffle. Deanna Shaver, Tilley Doyle and Cynthis Campion provided refreshments.
    Argie Viskup started and ended the meeting with a prayer.
