  • ST. JOHNSVILLE — Caught Caring is a peer program dedicated to highlight St. Johnsville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center’s values of trust, respect and dignity.
Any employee can be Caught Caring by demonstrating these values and enriching the lives of residents.
Nominations are open to all staff and can be made by staff, residents or family members. Certificate ballots are available outside the facility’s human resource office.
Elsie Rocklin was elected to receive the Caught Caring award. She was elected for the following reasons:
“Elsie is retired, but is only a phone call away. She is always willing to come in and replace anyone who is out sick. She is pleasant and never complains,” said Sherry Siggins.
“Elsie is always available to help and goes out of her way to make the residents feel safe and secure. She always offers help to both the staff and residents. She is an angel in disguise,” said Beth Schwasnick.
“Elsie is always going above and beyond for our residents and staff. Elsie is always willing to work for anyone who is out sick and as many hours as we need her. She is so friendly to the residents and always helps them with any of their needs,” said Karen Bass.
