  • ILION — A Frankfort woman was arrested on March 27 on charges she had stolen money from three people during a three-year period, according to Ilion police.
    Police report Michelle L. Smith-Risi, 47, of Orchard Street, was charged with first-degree scheme to defraud and third-degree grand larceny in connection with a complaint she had been stealing money from September 2010 until November 2013.
    The three victims reported the loss of a total of $14,930.87, police said.
    Smith-Risi was arraigned in Ilion Village Court and was directed to the Herkimer County Probation Department for an electronic monitoring system.

    ILION — An Ilion woman was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny Monday, according to Ilion police.
    Suzanne M. McGraw, 40, of English Street, was issued a ticket to appear in village court at 5 p.m. on April 1, police said.
