  • BOYS' BASKETBALL: Camden's Blue Devils beat Maroon Knights by 13

  • FRANKFORT, N.Y. — The Camden Blue Devils pulled away in the third quarter Wednesday and defeated Frankfort-Schuyler’s Maroon Knights 47-34.
    The Blue Devils (5-6) led 22-16 at halftime then outscored the Maroon Knights (2-8) 13-6 in the third quarter.
    Ryan McCarthy scored 19 points for Camden and moved within 31 of the 1,000 mark for his varsity career; he also had seven rebounds and three steals. Marc Snow added 10 points and Ryan Jones blocked four shots.
    Mark Spina’s 10 pints led Frankfort-Schuyler. Richard Morocco had seven points while Parker Goldsmith and Mitchel Shortt each grabbed eight rebounds.
    Frankfort-Schuyler is home again Friday for its next game against Dolgeville.
