NBC has ordered comedy pilots from Casey Wilson and Rashida Jones and a drama adaptation of Israeli series The Gordin Cell, TVGuide.com has learned.
From Happy Endings' Wilson and June Raphael, Mason Twins tells the story of two estranged fraternal twins who reconnect after one of their perfect lives has fallen apart. She returns to her suburban town to find that her sister hasn't matured past her teen queen days. Wilson and Raphael will write and executive-produce with Stacy Traub.
A to Z is a whimsical romantic comedy set in the world of an online dating company that details the "A to Z's" of a relationship, from meeting to breakup. The project's ensemble of characters try to navigate the complicated world of modern dating and find out if there is such thing as destiny. Parks and Recreation's Jones will executive-produce with Will McCormack and Ben Queen, who will also write.
Coercion is a high-octane thriller that recolves around the O'Connor family and their son Alex, a decorated American war hero and CIA analyst who is a true patriot and loves his country and family. Unbeknownst to him, both of his parents and his sister are part of a dormant Russian sleeper cell that has just been reactivated. Once the parents get reluctantly pulled back in, the stakes get higher when they are coerced into spying on their own son and turning him against his country. The Adjustment Bureau's George Molfi will write, direct and executive-produce with Avi Nir.
