DOLGEVILLE, N.Y. — The Dolgeville Blue Devils rung out 2013 with a 3-0 New Year’s Eve win over the Adirondack Wildcats.
The Blue Devils won the Center State Conference crossover match by scores of 25-12, 25-16 and 25-19.
Kaylee Brandow served 28-for-29 with nine aces and had five digs for Dolgeville (4-3); Abby Mosenthin had nine kills and three digs; Taylor Brandow had eight kills, an assist and nine digs; Emilie Bode had four kills, three blocks and a dig; Courtney Rachon had 14 assists, 10 digs, four aces and two kills; Mikey Rubas had 11 digs, five kills and two aces; Courtney Normoyle had seven assists, an ace and two digs; Camila Rios had six digs; Katie Millard had four digs; and Cheyanne Sullivan had an assist and a dig.
Emily Coscomb had seven kills, two blocks and nine digs for Adirondack (2-3); Shannon Lee had 10 assists; Nichoe Sears had five kills and a dig; and Shannon Swierat served three aces with a kill and two assists.
Adirondack won the junior varsity match in two games by scores of 26-24 and 25-14. Mercedes Rumrill had three assists and two digs for Dolgeville; Raquel Borst had three kills and three digs; Emily Miller had four digs; and Emily Krasko had five digs and an ace.
The Blue Devils are scheduled to play at home Wednesday against Remsen.
