  • LITTLE FALLS — Kim Marie (Krawecki) Rohacek, age 57, of Arthur Street, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Thursday morning, Dec. 26, 2013, in the comfort of her home, in the presence of her loving family.
    Visitation at the new Daniel J. Enea Funeral and Cremation Care, 5860 state Route 5, between Little Falls and Herkimer (508-5250), will take place on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013, from 3 to 6 p.m. Kim's funeral will commence at 6 p.m., also on Sunday, in the funeral home, with Deacon Ron Ste. Marie. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
    Kim was born in Little Falls on Aug. 6, 1956, daughter of John Krawecki of Little Falls and Toni (Grosse) Zogby, of New Harford, receiving her education in the Little Falls City School District. Kim was last employed at Ruggiero's Pizza in Little Falls until the sale of the business, but spent her life reverently tending to the needs of her loving family. In her spare time, she liked to read. She was a member of the Polish Community Home in Little Falls. Kim enjoyed spending time with all her animals, especially her beloved dog, Mya. Kim was of the Catholic faith.
    Survivors include her loving family: her husband, Brian, of Little Falls; her mother, Toni Zogby, of New Hartord; father, John Krawecki, of Little Falls; daughter, Shannon Maroney and husband, Marcus, of Worcester, Mass.; son, Jonathan Rohacek and fiancee, Catie Hoose, of Little Falls; her cherished grandson, Ethan Matthew Rohacek; siblings, Karin Capuana and husband, Salvatore, of New Hartford, Lisa Mellito, of New Hartford, and Michelle Wolfe and husband, Art, of Syracuse; mother-in-law, Connie Rohacek, of Little Falls, Gary Rohacek and wife, Doreen, of Little Falls, Karen Malone and husband, Jim, of Little Falls, and Joe Dickenson and wife, Joanne, of St. Johnsville; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; numerous devoted friends in Little Falls; along with a cousin, Kathy Krawecki, of Herkimer. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, John Rohacek; sister-in-law, Elaine Rohacek; brother-in-law, Bruce Rohacek; nephew, Erik Rohacek; and stepfather, Mike Zogby.
    The family would like to express their gratitude to all of the family members and friends who have supported and stood by Kim during her illness. Also, a heartfelt thanks to St. Elizabeth's Special Care Unit and ICU and Hospice and Palliative Care for their kindness and compassion. The family requests that memorial offerings be made to these fine professional care givers.
