  • 2 accused of hitting girlfriends in Dolgeville

  • DOLGEVILLE — Two Dolgeville men were arrested recently after allegedly striking their girlfriends during two separate domestic incidents.
    • Jason Wintermute, 36, of 55 1/2 N. Helmer Ave., was arrested on Dec. 19 and charged with two counts of misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child after allegedly striking, choking and pushing his girlfriend in front of the couple’s two children, ages 2 and 6 months, police said. He was ticketed and will appear in Manheim Town Court at a later date.
    • Christian D’Avolio, 43, of 83 S. Main St., was arrested on Dec. 16 and charged with misdemeanor third-degree assault after allegedly punching and shoving his girlfriend during a domestic dispute, causing injury to her face and back, police said. He was ticketed and will appear in Manheim Town Court at a later date. Additional charges are possible, police said.
