  • UTICA — Members of the Mohawk Valley Community Action Agency staff thanked the members of Roser Communications, owners of radio stations 97.9/105.5 KISS FM, 100.7 WUTQ, Bug Country 99.7/101.1 and Lite 104.7 FM, for partnering with the agency for its annual Stuff the Bus campaign.
From the toys collected at the Birnie Bus headquarters in Rome, MVCAA staff collected more than 350 toys that will be distributed to MVCAA Head Start families.
“This campaign went above and beyond our expectations,” Evon Ervin, deputy director MVCAA, said in a news release. “I want to thank the radio stations and the generosity of this community of this campaign that will help put so many smiles on our children’s and family’s faces this holiday season.”
Toys were picked up at the Birnie Bus headquarters in Rome and were distributed by having the teachers of Head Start classrooms come in with their lists of children and pick toys that fit their needs and wants.
