  • GIRLS' BASKETBALL ROUNDUP: All-state guard leads Milford past Richfield Springs

  • MILFORD, N.Y. — All-state guard Addy Lawson scored 23 points for Milford Tuesday in the Wildcats’ 52-32 win over the Richfield Springs Indians.
    The Wildcats limited the Indians to single-digit point totals in each of the first three quarters and led by 16 entering the fourth.
    Becca Smith was the high scorer for Richfield Springs (2-3, 1-1 TVL) with 11 points.
    The Indians play on the road again Friday at Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton.

    BOONVILLE, N.Y. — The Clinton Warriors picked up their pace in the second half Tuesday and defeated Adirondack 45-35.
    The Warriors (3-2, 2-0 CSC-I) scored 33 points in the second half of a game they led 12-11 at halftime.
    Jazmin Knight scored 18 points to lead Clinton. Heather Knight added 12.
    Abby Philbrick was the high scorer for Adirondack (1-1, 1-1 CSC-I) with 10 points.
    The Wildcats play Thursday at Holland Patent.
