LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. — The Dolgeville Blue Devils snapped their rare two-match losing streak Monday with a 25-16, 25-10, 25-13 sweep of the Little Falls Mounties.
Courtney Rachon served nine aces with 11 assists, two kills and five digs for Dolgeville (2-2, 1-1 CSC-II); Mikey Rubas had seven aces, three kills and two digs; Courtney Normoyle had five aces and eight assists; Taylor Brandow had six kills and an ace; Katie Millard had two aces and eight digs; Kaylee Brandow had two aces, two kills and five digs; Abby Mosenthin and Cheyanne Sullivan each had three kills; Emilie Bode had two kills; Annabelle Lee had one kill and one dig; and Camilla Rios had one dig.
Lauren Shepardson had three digs, two kills, an ace and an assist for Little Falls (0-5, 0-2 CSC-II); Winter Polnak had two digs and a kill; Carolyn Alford had two aces and four digs; Tara Van Alstine had five digs; Courtney Liddon had one kill; and Christina Deschene and Samantha Ackerman each served an ace.
Dolgeville won the junior varsity match in three games by scores of 25-12, 14-25 and 25-16. Emily Krasko served six aces for Dolgeville with one kill and one dig; Rachael Gross had four aces, two kills, three assists and one dig; Mercedes Rumrill had four assists, three aces and two digs; and Raquel Borst had four aces, four kills and one dig. Shelby Muller served five aces with one kill and two digs for Little Falls; Casey Baumeister had seven assists, three kills, one ace and two digs; Taylor Giaquinto had four kills, three aces and three digs; Molly Bucenec had three kills and three digs; Kaytlyn Slaboc had one kill and one ace; Rebecca Swart served one ace; and Meghan Burleigh had one dig.
Dolgeville travels to Cooperstown Wednesday while Little Falls is off until Dec. 27 when it plays at Holland Patent.
EAST HERKIMER, N.Y. — The undefeated Cooperstown Hawkeyes took three straight games from Herkimer Monday in their debut as a member of Division II of the Center State Conference.
The Hawkeyes won by scores of 25-23, 25-23 and 25-21 on the road.
Caitlyn Roorda had seven kills, five digs and an ace for Herkimer (3-2, 1-1 CSC-II); Paige Klock had six kills, an ace, an assist and three digs; Natalie Schrader had six kills, a block and two aces; and Jami Peters had 20 assists, six digs and two kills.
Caroline Leonard had nine kills and four aces for Cooperstown (5-0, 1-0 CSC-II); McKenna Hage had nine kills and two blocks; Brooke Liner had four kills and two aces; Kristin Ratliff had 14 assists; and Jennifer Snyder had six kills.
Cooperstown was a 2-1 winner in junior varsity play.
The Hawkeyes are home Wednesday for a match against Dolgeville. Herkimer next plays Friday at Frankfort-Schuyler.

SAUQUOIT, N.Y. — The Mt. Markham Mustangs swept three games Monday to beat Sauquoit Valley on the road.
The Mustangs defeated their neighbors by scores of 25-19, 25-22 and 25-21.
Courtney Thompson had six kills, two blocks, one ace and seven digs for Mt. Markham (5-2, 1-1 CSC-III); Claire Ladlee had five kills, one block, two aces and six digs; Olivia Thomson had six kills and five digs; Bridget Wilcox had four aces, three kills, one block and 13 digs; Hannah Barrett had two kills, an ace, two assists and three digs; Carryn Williams had two kills; Kaleigh Bryce had seven assists, four kills, three aces and four digs; Megan Wool had three aces and four digs; and Brianna Wilcox had three digs.
Kassidy Hasselman had 13 assists, six digs and one ace for Sauquoit Valley (0-5, 0-3 CSC-III); Abbey Mielnicki had four kills and five digs; Tori Weaver had three kills and five digs; and Alyssa Orsino had nine digs.
The Mustangs’ next match is Wednesday at home against Waterville.
WESTMORELAND, N.Y. — After splitting Monday’s first two games, the Westmoreland Bulldogs took the next two and claimed a 3-1 win over the Frankfort-Schuyler Maroon Knights. The Bulldogs won by scores of 25-22, 11-25, 25-21 and 25-19.
Jamie Juliano had six aces, eight assists and five digs for Frankfort-Schuyler (2-3); Brittney Janis had five aces, eight kills, two blocks and nine digs; Alyssa Unsinn had 11 digs and three kills; Ashlee Carlesimo had 18 digs; and Brianna Manzo had seven digs, five assists, one ace and one kill.
Allison Brockway had 11 kills, four blocks, eight assists and three aces for Westmoreland (4-3); Desiree Champney had three aces, four kills and four digs; Savannah Decker had seven kills and two blocks; Cheyenne Morris had three aces, four kills, two blocks and nine assists; and Gabrille Duell had three aces, two kills and six digs.
The Maroon Knights are home Friday for a match against Herkimer.
