  • CICERO — Authorities say a 55-year-old central New York woman has been killed in a collision with a moving truck on a Syracuse-area road.
The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office says Artania Crouse of Durhamville in Oneida County was traveling on Route 298 in the town of Cicero around 3:50 p.m. Tuesday when her car slid out of control on a curve and collided with a Ryder moving truck.
Deputies say Crouse was pronounced dead at the scene. The man driving the truck wasn’t injured.
Police say snow-covered roads may have been a factor in the crash, but the cause remains under investigation.
