LITTLE FALLS — At H.A.L.O. House in Little Falls, the top of every homeless cat’s wish list is a warm, safe home with a loving family to care for them.
Whether they are lost, abandoned or no longer able to stay in their current homes, these homeless cats are cared for by Helping Animals Live Organization volunteers until their wish is granted. That’s why H.A.L.O. is launching “A Home for the Holidays” campaign in an effort to find permanent homes for their resident cats at H.A.L.O. House this holiday season.
Individuals can find every type of cat — longhair to shorthair, black to orange, sweet to independent — looking for a person who will take them home. H.A.L.O.’s adoption fee of $50 includes spay or neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations and testing for feline diseases. To view some of the available pets, go to their website at www.halorescue.net.
Fostering a cat for the holidays is also a rewarding experience and it saves the life of the pet. Call Faye at 823-0239 or Andrea at 823-4680 for more information.
H.A.L.O. House is located at 615 Albany St. in Little Falls. Because volunteers staff it, appointments are preferred to see the cats. Volunteers will accommodate a person’s schedule.
