LITTLE FALLS — The Little Falls Indoor Farmers’ Market and Artisans’ Fair will offer fresh winter produce, wild mushrooms, grass fed beef, free range chicken and eggs, artisan breads, olive oils, handmade origami Christmas ornaments, alpaca yarn and woven products, herbal products and beeswax candles during the sixth annual Christmas in Little Falls on Saturday, Dec. 14.
One of the goals of the Little Falls Indoors Farmers’ Market is to make the route from the farm to the table more transparent.
Most of the market’s foods come from a 25-mile radius, but some come from greater distances because they are not produced nearby. Visitors will be able to choose from natural winter vegetables, herbs and tomatoes, meat, fish, cheeses, yogurt, milk, crafts, honey, jams and baked goods. Visitors will also be able to enjoy live music.
The purpose of The Little Falls Artisans’ Fair is to highlight an array of fine artists and skilled artisans, and bring their wares to market.
In addition to booths displaying items for sale, the fair offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy live music and demonstrations.
Past vendors at the indoor farmers’ market and artisans’ fair include Bouchard Farms, Flat Rock Sugar Farm, Jason Richards, Jr. Farms, Lapp’s Produce, Palatine Valley Dairy, Donald Mosher, Szarek Farms, Summer’s End Orchard, Winkler Farm, Origami by Tristan Dunn, Patricia Wares, Terry Potoczny, Dulsa’s Kitchen, Scentsy Wickless Candles, Nature’s Herbal Therapies, Ritchie’s Raw Honey, FugiFungo, Photos by Livy, The Garden Mentor, Sonshine Leather Crafts, Little Garden Crafts, Joanne Morotti, Persnickety Chick Designs, Chris’ Cheese Cakes, Signs of Obsession and The Mustard Seed.
