GLOVERSVILLE — Mark Kilmer, president of the Fulton Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce, announced Michele Marzullo, the Chamber’s former membership assistant, has been promoted to director of membership.
“Michele Marzullo has gone above and beyond to grow our membership to its current levels, and continues to provide great service to our new and renewing members. She is enthusiastic and high-energy, and we think she’s ready to take on this new challenge,” Kilmer said in a news release.
Marzullo joined the Chamber team a year ago as an office assistant, and became membership assistant in February.
Marzullo currently lives in Amsterdam. She graduated from Amsterdam High School, received her ASD in liberal arts and sciences from Schenectady County Community College, and studied communications and marketing at the State University at Albany. During her studies, she interned at WCSS and WIZR radio stations and completed an internship with the former Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce, assisting with tourism projects and Chamber events. Previously, she was sales coordinator in Knoxville, Tenn., for the Oliver Hotel, a bouquet hotel in downtown Knoxville, and at the same time worked as a public relations intern at the Knoxville Opera.
Marzullo may be reached at the Chamber at 518-725-0641 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
