  • BOYS' BASKETBALL: Adirondack ralls to 31-point win in opener

  • BOONVILLE, N.Y. — The Adirondack Wildcats led by 21 points at the end of the first quarter Tuesday and opened their season with a 77-46 win over the Remsen Rams.
    The Wildcats scored 29 points in the opening period and 51 in the first half. They led by 31 points at halftime and played the Rams to a draw in the second half.
    Elliot Hernandez scored 19 points and Jordan Millard had 18 to lead Adirondack. Ryan Dellerba chipped in with 14 while Josh Nessel and Kyle Swiecki each scored eight. Millard had four of the team’s seven three-point baskets.
    Sabastian Bullard and Clayton Boucher scored 10 points each to lead Remsen.
