  • Mohawk Valley Choral Society to perform Christmas concert

  • LITTLE FALLS — The Mohawk Valley Choral Society, conducted by Randy Davis, will sing “A Christmas Mosaic” at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8, at Holy Family Church on East Main Street in Little Falls.
    The concert will include music of the season from many different cultures and traditions.
    The chorus will be joined by soloists Anita Firman, soprano, and by bagpiper Michael Roddy, as well as a chamber orchestra.
    Included in the concert will be music by Beethoven and Pergolesi, as well traditional and newer arrangements of familiar carols.
    The concert will also celebrate Davis’ 25th year as artistic director and conductor of the choral society.
    Tickets will be $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Tickets are available at the Stanley Box office in Utica, at Hummel’s Office Plus in Herkimer or at the Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts in Little Falls.
