LITTLE FALLS — Darryl Harrington loves trains and railroad history and he has many interesting stories about the evolution of railroading in Central New York.
He will be the guest speaker at the Little Falls Historical Society’s meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 26, at the WCA at 534 Garden St., Little Falls.
The election of historical society officers and the board of Directors during a business meeting will precede the guest speaker.
Harrington’s address will include a PowerPoint presentation containing a number of old local railroading pictures. The merger of the old Utica and Schenectady railroads into the New York Central and the history of the old West Shore Railroad will be two topics covered.
Light refreshments will be served after the evening’s program.
All Little Falls Historical Society meetings are free and open to the public.
