  • UTICA — The Stanley Theater and Valley Health Services have donated 20 free Trace Adkins concert tickets to the Central New York Veterans Outreach Center of Utica.
Vincent Scalise, director of the veterans center, accepted the tickets on behalf of the local veterans.
“We thank our veterans every day and this being Veterans Day week, we decided to reach out to our neighbors at the veterans center here in downtown Utica and provide them with a free night of entertainment. Trace Adkins is a big supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project and he has done USO tours for the troops. We along with Valley Health Services, our partners in this upcoming concert, decided it would be a wonderful donation for Trace’s holiday show,” said Jerry Kraus, director of the Stanley, said in a news release.
The value of the ticket donation is over $1,000.
Valley Health Services and the Stanley Theatre will host Adkins live on the Stanley stage at 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22.
The event will support both organizations.
Tickets are available at the Stanley Box Office or by calling 724-4000 Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and through ticketmaster.com.
