The Slocum Dickson Foundation has awarded a $475 grant to Valley Health Services.
The funding will enhance the educational component of the cardiac rehabilitation program, according to a news release.
Resource guides, handbooks and videos will be available to cardiac rehab patients and their families as well as the general public, according to the release.
The collection will be housed in the Community Resource Library.
“Our cardiac rehabilitation patients will benefit from the generosity of the Slocum-Dickson Foundation. We are extremely grateful to the foundation for choosing to support the work of Valley Health Services,” said Lisa Betrus, chief executive officer and administrator, in the release.
