The 2013 New York State Right to Life Convention will take place Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Holiday Inn in Oneonta.
The featured speaker at the convention will be 17-year-old Courtney Elizabeth, an abortion survivor whose twin was aborted. She will speak about the personal impact abortion had on her life, a news release stated.
The convention also will address euthanasia, brain death, organ donation and other related issues, the release stated.
Other speakers will include Burke Balch, director of National Right to Life Committee’s Robert Powell Center for Medical Ethics; Dr. Paul Byrne, clinical professor at the University of Toledo Medical College; and registered nurse Jeanne Head, United Nations representative for the International Right to Life Federation.
