A Schuyler man was arrested for being a fugitive from justice at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Oct. 10, according to the Town of Frankfort Police Department.
Jesus Roman, 41, of state Route 5, was arrested after a motor vehicle stop on state Route 5S, police said.
Through an investigation at the scene patrol officers discovered Roman was wanted by the Reading Pennsylvania Police Department after a warrant was issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for failing to register as a sex offender, police said.
Roman was processed at the Town of Frankfort Police Department and was charged with being a fugitive from justice. He was arraigned in front of Judge Phillip Tangorra and was remanded to the Herkimer County jail without bail, police said. He will be turned over to the Reading Police Department.
