  • Woman awakes to find Dolgeville man in her bedroom

    DOLGEVILLE — A Dolgeville man has been accused of breaking into a residence and entering a woman’s bedroom as she slept, Dolgeville police said.
    Christopher L. Traskey, 26, of Military Road, was charged with felony second-degree burglary, police said.
    The alleged incident took place at about 2 a.m. Tuesday. The woman awoke to find Traskey standing in her bedroom, police said.
    He then began walking toward her bed and she began yelling, which awoke her brother, who was sleeping down the hall, police said.
    Traskey, who was known by the victim, then fled, police said.
    He was arraigned in Manheim Town Court and was sent to Herkimer County jail on $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 bail bond.
    Additional charges are pending.
