ST. JOHNSVILLE, N.Y. — Triston Engle scored a goal in the first half Monday and the Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville Wolves made it stand up for a 1-0 win over the Lions of Mekeel Christian Academy.
Andrew Hart assisted on Engle’s goal for the Wolves (5-3-1) and goalkeeper Nate Trumbel earned the shutout with seven saves.
Jacob Kahler recorded nine saves for the Lions.
Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville has lost just once in its last seven matches and plays at home Wednesday against Mayfield.

WEBB, N.Y. — Tyler Wright scored both goals for West Canada Valley Monday in the Indians’ 2-0 win over the Old Forge Eskimos.
George Youngs had assists on both goals, one of which came before halftime and the other after. Michael Sternberg made nine saves in the shutout for the Indians (6-3-1) who are ranked 19th in the New York State Sportswriters Association Class C poll which was released earlier Monday.
John Gaffney made 12 saves for the Eskimos (3-4-0).
West Canada Valley plays at home Wednesday against Poland.

WESTMORELAND, N.Y. — Morgan Rolewicz scored four goals Monday in the Westmoreland Bulldogs’ 10-0 win over the Little Falls Mounties.
Rolewicz also had an assist for the Bulldogs (5-5-0) who led 5-0 at halftime. Erik Harris had two goals and an assist, Nick Drake scored two goals, Josh Drake had a goal and two assists, and Matt Calogero chipped in with two assists. Goalkeeper Zach Dunning made three saves.
Cole Douglas made 19 saves for Little Falls (0-8-1).
The Mounties travel to Old Forge for a match Wednesday.
SCHOHARIE, N.Y. — The Schoharie Indians took a 2-0 lead in the first half Monday and defeated Canajoharie’s Cougars 3-1.
Cameron Schultz, Devon Brooks and Morgan Henry scored for the Indians (8-1-1) who are ranked 11th in the state in Class C. Justin Mentione made two saves.
Jerson Vasquez scored for Canajoharie (2-7-0) in the second half. Zachary Young was credited with three saves.
The Cougars play Wednesday in Northville.

HAMILTON, N.Y. — Hamilton/Morrisville-Eaton scored two goals late in the second half Monday to secure a 3-0 win over the Mt. Markham Mustangs.
Hamilton/Morrisville-Eaton (7-2-0), No. 14 in this week’s New York State Sportswriters Association Class C poll, led 1-0 at halftime on an unassisted Alejandro Fuentes-Lamb goal.
Mt. Markham (3-7-0) had a chance to tie early in the second half but goalkeeper Lucas Ord collided with Mustang Jacob Griffiths as they pursued a loose ball rolling toward the Hamilton/Morrisville-Eaton goal; the ball rolled wide of the post.
