Assemblywoman Claudia Tenney, R-New Hartford, has announced a new chief of staff, Christian Ragosta, to her Assembly office.
With next year’s legislative session rapidly approaching, Tenney said, she looks forward to utilizing Ragosta’s years of political experience for the residents of the 101st Assembly District.
“His insight into the inner workings of the legislative process and knowledge of the lifestyle and culture of upstate New York will be a valuable addition not only to my office, but to the residents of the 101st District. His firsthand experience working with local communities, organizations, government entities and members of the Assembly will greatly benefit this office and our community,” Tenney said in a news release.
Ragosta was formerly employed by the state Assembly minority as a coordinator of Member Services, and has experience with local and national elections.
He is a graduate of SUNY Geneseo, with a bachelor’s degree in political science. Ragosta grew up in Tully.
“I am honored to be given the opportunity to work with Assemblywoman Tenney to help the people of the 101st Assembly District,” Ragosta said in a news release. “The issues and concerns of these families and businesses mirror those of my family and friends, and I look forward to doing my part to help the assemblywoman make the communities she represents even stronger.”
