  • Annette Ruth (Durse) Pawlinga entered into eternal rest with the heavenly Father on Sept. 22, 2013, at home, with her loving family and friends by her side.
    She was born on March 26, 1920, in Frankfort, the daughter of the late Maria and Joseph Durse. Annette attended school in Frankfort. She was employed at Chicago Pneumatic Tool Co. for over 25 years, until her retirement.
    Annette loved traveling the world and enjoyed her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
    She is survived by her husband, Louis W. Pawlinga; daughter, Mary "Mickey" Lallo, of Syracuse; sisters, Madeline Rella, of Florida, Margaret Rella, of Minnesota, Pearl Rustenberg, of St. Louis, Frances "Chickie" Irons, of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Ray "Butch" Lallo, in 2001, and sisters, Mary Strable, Yolanda Speer, Flora Jones and Grace Povia.
    Annette's family would like to thank Mary Ann and Tiffany Dineen and caregiver, Vivian Pritchard, for their compassionate care during her illness.
    Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Myslinski Funeral Home, 470 French Rd., Utica. Funeral services will be Thursday at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home and 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
