  • Coffeehouse event to benfit Habitat for Humanity

  • The New Beginnings Coffeehouse on Friday, Sept. 20, will be a benefit concert to support the work of Habitat for Humanity.
    The concert will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Herkimer and Little Falls at 127 N. Prospect St., Herkimer.
    Bands will include Strong Connection, the church’s own young adult praise band, B.O.W., or “Band of Worship,” the praise band from Crosspoint Church in Whitesboro, and the well-known Mark Bolos Band from New Hartford.
    For this coffeehouse there will be a charge of $6 with all of the proceeds benefitting Habitat for Humanity.
    Refreshments will be available and all are invited to a night of music and fellowship.
    Advance tickets are available at the church office, Big Apple Music, Life Discovery and the Herkimer Reformed Church.
