  • BOYS' SOCCER: Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville gets first win

  • ST. JOHNSVILLE, N.Y. — The Wolves of Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville scored one goal before halftime and one after in Friday’s 2-0 shutout of the Fort Plain Hilltoppers.
    Anthony Dillenbeck and Dylan Klock scored for the Wolves (1-2-0) with Devan Battisti contributing an assist. Nate Trumble made seven saves and the shutout gave Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville its first win as a merged district.
    James May made 12 saves for Fort Plain (1-3-0).
    The Wolves play at home Monday against Northville. Fort Plain next plays Wednesday against Mayfield.
