DOLGEVILLE, N.Y. — The Dolgeville Blue Devils and Frankfort-Schuyler Maroon Knights played to a 3-3 draw in overtime Saturday morning in Dolgeville.
The match was tied at 2 at the end of regulation.
Sarah George scored one of the Dolgeville goals and assisted on the other two. Emilie Lewandowski and Joslin Null were the other Dolgeville scorers. Morgan Randall made three saves and Katie Millard added 10 for the Blue Devils.
Danielle Migliore, Simone Palumbo and Alexis Bianchi each scored a goal for Frankfort-Schuyler. Cassandra Grippe made five saves.
Both team play at home Tuesday, Dolgeville against Herkimer and Frankfort-Schuyler against Little Falls.
OPPENHEIM-EPHRATAH-ST. JOHNSVILLE 8, UNATEGO 4
SCHOHARIE, N.Y. — The Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville Wolves earned a spot in the Kyle Sharp Tournament’s championship match by beating Unatego of Section IV 8-4 Saturday.
The Wolves return to Schoharie Saturday to meet the host school in the title match. Schoharie defeated Duanesburg 4-0 in the other match in the opening round.
Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville led its match 3-2 at halftime behind two goals from Alexis Romeyn and one scored by Rylie Smith. Smith added a second goal in the second half when Skyler Viveros had two, Abby Mosher had one and Addie Brundage had a goal and an assist. Jessi Hagadorn assisted on two of the goals in the second half.
Tanner Reed and Mary Rommer scored in the first half for Unatego and Emily Slawson had two goals in the second half.
Leann Clark made 11 saves for the Wolves while Megan Faulkner had nine for the Spartans.
Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville is home Monday for a match against Duanesburg and travels to Scotia Wednesday to play against Mekeel Christian Academy.
