  • Girls can be their best self at the annual veni.vidi.vici., taking place Nov. 9 and 10 at Ralph Perry Junior High School in New Hartford.
Veni.vidi.vici. is the area’s largest all-girl sleepover and attracts girls from throughout the local council, covering 24 counties in New York and two counties in Pennsylvania.
At veni.vidi.vici. girls have fun with friends in program sessions that allow them to be creative, healthy and make a difference in the community, according to a news release.
The fun will begin with a pizza party and a kick-off dance party, along with swimming and the rock wall. Other program offerings this year will include Super Twister and an animal-oriented service project.
The cost to attend is $30 per person before Oct. 4 and $35 per person between Oct. 4 and 18. Girls not currently Girl Scout members are invited to join by going to gsnypenn.org/join. Cost is $15 a year. Financial assistance for membership is available. Volunteers are also needed for veni.vidi.vici. A volunteer giving at least four hours of their time can attend the event for free.
For more information about becoming a volunteer, contact Miranda Nieto at 733-2391, ext. 2124, or mnieto@gsnypenn.org.
