The Oneida Indian Nation, whose Turning Stone Resort Casino turned 20 years old this summer, is giving its own birthday gift to the Stanley Center for the Arts, which is celebrating its 85 anniversary this year.
The present? A $10,000 donation.
“As we both historic milestones, these funds will be utilized for our operations,” said Jerry Kraus, executive director of the Stanley, in a press release.
He added the Nation will be included as a sponsor of the theater’s 85th anniversary “Roll Out The Red Carpet” event on Saturday, Nov. 2.
Ray Halbritter, Oneida Nation representative and Nation Enterprises CEO, said “As we celebrate Turning Stone’s 20 years we are very happy to recognize the Stanley’s 85th anniversary with this donation to the arts.”
