It's been an exciting week for Lance Bass! A week after he and his former 'N Sync bandmates reunited at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, he proposed to his boyfriend Michael Turchin.
"He said YES!! Love this man @michaelturchin," Bass tweeted along with this photo. According to Us Weekly, Bass popped the question with a black diamond band.
Bass, 34, officially came out in 2006 with a People magazine cover story. "I knew that I was in this popular band and I had four other guys' careers in my hand, and I knew that if I ever acted on it or even said (that I was gay), it would overpower everything," Bass said at the time. "I didn't know: Could that be the end of 'N Sync? So I had that weight on me of like, 'Wow, if I ever let anyone know, it's bad.' So I just never did."
Following the group's reunion at the VMAs he tweeted, "For the first time ever I got to perform [with] 'NSYNC as an out entertainer."
Bass and Turchin, an aspiring actor and model, began dating in December 2011.
