Josephine Ostasz, 84, a longtime Little Falls resident, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2013, at Little Falls Hospital with the love and support of her family.

She was happiest when surrounded by her loved ones and they will cherish all of the special ways she showed her love for them. At one time, Josephine enjoyed bowling, playing cards with her family, taking bus trips to the casino and was a faithful fan of the New York Yankees.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Walter; her son, Walter Ostasz, Jr. and his special significant other, Laura Stallman, of Little Falls; her daughter, Anna Bailey and husband, Richard, of Little Falls; her cherished grandchildren, Sarah Chandler and husband, Chris, Walter J. Ostasz, Kayla Grace Ostasz, Erin Bailey-Smith and husband, James and Patrick Bailey; her great-grandchildren, Isabella, Elijah, Gabriella and Abigail Chandler and Bailee Smith; a brother, Sam and wife, Nadine Marchese, of Little Falls; her sisters, Florence Quatrino, of Little Falls, and Liz and husband, Jere Donovan, of North Carolina; an aunt, Rose Guarniere, of Frankfort; and many nieces and nephews.
