Event highlights
Billed with the tagline “Beers, Bands and Chainsaws,” Buzzbin Magazine's Froth Fest 2013 aims for a rowdy time from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Jan. 4 in downtown Canton.
• More than 20 bands will descend on four stages in downtown Canton, delivering grungy rock, folk, punk, rockabilly, bluegrass and a mix of everything in between.
• The sounds of shredding guitars will be joined by the buzz of chain saws as ice sculptors shave down hunks of ice, transforming them into glistening, frigid works of art, right near the outdoor stage on Fourth Street NW.
• No matter what crazy mix Mother Nature delivers this night, the weather won’t be an issue - guests can gather at a heated outdoor stage and beer garden.
• Seasonal brews will be on tap, including offerings from Goose Island and Widmer Bros., along with Bud and Bud Light.
