Explain what you enjoy most about your sport and athletics.
My favorite part about basketball is the many different aspects of the game and trying to improve in them. The challenge of becoming a better ball handler or a tougher one-on-one defender is something that brings out the best of my competitive spirit. Competition in general is what I like best about athletics.

What is your most memorable athletic moment?
My sophomore year when our soccer team went undefeated during the regular season.

Tell us about someone who inspires you in sports and why.
My dad is my biggest inspiration. He was my coach for every sport I participated in during elementary school. Even today, my dad acts as a personal coach because he talks to me every day about how I can improve my game or how I can help contribute more to my team.

What are your greatest challenges balancing academics and sports?
Fatigue is the most difficult problem. It’s tough sometimes to come home from a game or late practice and know that you have to finish up a paper that is due the next day when you just want to rest.

What are your plans after graduating from high school?
Attend college and study political science.
