Explain what you enjoy most about your sport and athletics.
Sports allow me to be involved in something competitive while still making friendships. It takes determination and drive to be involved in sports. I enjoy that sports provide structure in my life as well as excitement.

What is your most memorable athletic moment?
My most memorable athletic moment was beating Tully in volleyball my sophomore and senior year, and winning Regionals in 2010.

Tell us about someone who inspires you in sports and why.
Jim Gabeler was a volleyball coach that I played for beginning when I was in fifth grade. He made the difference for me in volleyball. He taught me that volleyball isn’t all about winning or losing, but there is also a sense of family when playing. He made volleyball more than a sport but a way of life. He taught me to be confident when playing. I owe every accomplishment that I have made to him. I miss him, but I hope to make him proud every day. RIP Coach Gabeler.

What are your greatest challenges balancing academics and sports?
My greatest challenge when balancing academics and sports is finding time to participate in group projects. The majority of the time my friends are involved in sports, as well, making it difficult to find time to get together.

What are your plans after graduating from high school?
I plan to attend either Nazareth College or SUNY Potsdam to study Childhood Education.
